Sooooo I went to training for work today! Which they said would be from 10am to 12pm. But was actually from 10am to 12pm with an hour break and then we continued from 1pm to 3:30pm. GEE THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME.
I start working next Saturday, where I have to be there at 6:30am for an asthma run. It ends at around noon, we break for lunch, then we do more "training." But I think they mean cleaning. Whatever.
Okay so, we were understaffed almost all the time last year. Stadiums were always borrowing workers from other stadiums. Sometimes only one person would show up at my stadium! AND THEY'RE CUTTING DOWN ON LABOR EVEN MORE. FFFF can't you cut the budget SOMEWHERE ELSE? So they tell us we're going to be "double staffing" which means we'll be doing the job of two people on our own. And all I have to show for it is a 20 cent raise.
Wooow. Not sure if I'll be here the whole season.
