i need to rewatch canon just to get this crap out of my head
How is the fanfic getting worse as things go along, instead of better? You'd think more airtime=better characterization, but then sometimes even Dean is awful. :/
I loooove hurt/comfort. I love it like nothing else. And most D/C fic is h/c. However, it is possible to do h/c WITHOUT being wildly OOC. :| Also I'm getting sick of seeing Dean on the Hurt side. I can understand it, but if I see one more fic where it's like this, I will scream:
Dean: "Baaaaww I'm not worthy of being saved or loved and that is why I'm angry at you. :'("
Castiel: "God loooooves you and so do I. Let me love you, Dean. :("
FFFFFFFF it seems like everyone writes it like that. I don't recall Cas ever emphasizing God's love or anything. I remember him saying stuff like Dean was chosen by God, and God needed him for something, but he's never been that much of a hugbox. Also this kind of fic almost always turns Dean into a giant tsundere.
I wish more people would write fic from Castiel's POV, too. It's interesting!
In other news, I've been listening to classical music on Pandora all day, and while I really like this one dude's songs, I don't want to give him a thumbs up because he looks like a douchebag on his album cover. :(
I just checked and currently, the most used tag in this journal is "college" at 15 uses. But then there's "supernatural" at 13 uses. I have only been into Supernatural for a month. Is this obsession?
